We absolutely love the attention to detail that the staff/owners put into this hotel/room. The shower is such an important thing to us, especially after a long day of travel and we agree that it was the best shower for a hotel we've probably ever had! The cleanliness exceeded my expectations, as we are "clean freaks" and the bed was super comfortable, which is always the most important to everyone traveling. The avocado toast, latte and waffle were delicious!! We would ONLY stay at the Abernathy when visiting Clemson in the future...thank you so much for the fantastic experience!

onsite bar and quaint breakfast was perfect for us. I liked the decor of the room-it was not a basic room in a chain hotel. There was a very nice counter for coffee and food prep, full length mirror, some space to move around and a simple table to share a meal. There is walkable options for food and you're across the street from Clemson 's campus and very close to the football stadium. We walked to the softball field and it was about 10 easy minutes. perfect!

We stayed here to take our student back to school and this hotel has now become our go to for sure . The room was quite large and very clean . The staff was super polite and friendly as well . Walking distance to both stadiums and downtown. We can’t wait to return here next visit .
